What is tendonitis?
Repetitive movements of a tendon can cause micro-tearing and inflammation. Ignoring this problem can lead to malfunction of the sheath, or covering of the tendon that produces fluid to keep the tendon lubricated. This can actually lead to a “drying out” of your tendon. Tendonitis is common in shoulders, elbows, wrists, and ankles. Ignoring tendonitis too long can make it worse and more difficult to correct. Carly can help decrease your pain and give you an exercise program to help correct and prevent reoccurrence.
