Carly was born and raised in Lindsay and attended Brock University for Kinesiology in 2005. After working as a kinesiologist locally for one year after graduating she realized her real passion was physiotherapy. She then attended the University of Toronto where she earned a Masters’s in Physiotherapy and now has 7 years of experience as a physiotherapist here in the Kawartha Lakes. She enjoys running, biking, HIIT, and spending time with her husband and three children.
Carly has completed extra training in manual therapy, McKenzie method, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, and exercise prescription. While Carly treats all musculoskeletal conditions, she has a special interest in treating low back and shoulder pain. She is also an experienced pelvic therapist, treating women’s health issues such as urinary incontinence and pelvic pain. She works a lot with postpartum and postmenopausal pelvic issues. She is also an advanced practice practitioner for assessing low back pain and does local patient screening for the Scarborough hospital spine surgeons through the ISAEC program.
