What makes a great Arabesque?

Aligning your body will produce your best arabesque. First; arabesque should be mastered before moving onto the others. It will create a great base for you to improve on. Ensure your battlement tondue position is in its best alignment for your body before moving onto arabesque.
Here are some tips to follow:
? Hips square
? Supporting leg turned out, but within your flexibility
? Supporting leg/ hip should be ‘pulled up’ and core is activated
? Upper body/ chest erect and slightly forward
? The extending leg should feel long; as if energy is moving along it and lengthening it. This will help it lift off the floor.
