Emergency Massage Therapy
June 13, 2020 Posted in: ASK AN EXPERT
Adelaide Clinic is now offering urgent Massage Therapy to our community for patients who meet certain criteria.
Adhering to the government’s rules and regulations and the Registered College of Massage Therapists of Ontario Guidelines we are offering care to:
1) a patient who is experiencing SEVERE pain or dysfunction from their injury/condition
2) any scenario where treatment could help avoid a hospital visit or admission
3) the patient is a health care provider or another essential service provider whose injury/condition requires treatment to return to work safely
We are complying with a strict screening of every patient before and as they enter the clinic. We are allowing ample spacing between each patient to ensure that our surfaces can be disinfected and patients are not crossing paths in our clinic.
We are currently only booking 1-hour massages, when you attend your appointment you MUST wear a mask(bring your own, if you don’t have one, one can be purchased for a slight fee).
Our RMT’s will be wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) which meets the regulatory standards for every patient.
