Post-Op Surgery Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy after surgery is critical for the results you achieve.
It starts at your initial healing process and can carry on until you complete recovery and return to regular activities, sport, or work.

Generally, in the initial stages immediately post-op we work to control swelling, pain and promote a gentle range of motion. As you progress further, we work to restore your full range of motion and start gentle strengthening exercises. Lastly, we work to achieve to restore full strength and return to regular activities, sport, or work. 

We can instruct you and provide education regarding your sling or walking aid such as crutches, cane, or walker.
