The nervous system controls everything in your body. It does this by having a complex network of nerves that transmit signals between different parts of the body.
The components of your nervous system are:
Your Brain: this is part of the Central Nervous System (CNS)
Your spinal cord: Also known as the central highway of all the nerves in your body. The spine is also part of the Central Nervous System (CNS)
Peripheral Nerves (PNS): Together with their motor and sensory endings connect the CNS to the organs, limbs, and skin. PNS helps us understand pain, touch and movement.
